With around 1.98 million inhabitants, Vienna is not only Austria’s capital but the country’s largest contiguous e-commerce market. Purchasing power is high, competition is dense, and expectations on speed and quality in online retail have tightened noticeably over the past five years. We see this every day — in the performance of our Vienna projects, in first calls with retailers from the inner city, and in our clients’ numbers.
From our studio at Leonard-Bernstein-Straße 10 in the 22nd district, we work with Vienna-based retailers, agencies, tax advisors, publishers, NGOs and startups. Most projects run remote; when it helps, we meet in person in Donau-City, at Rochusmarkt or in a 7th-district coworking space. Both work. More important than the remote-or-on-site question is that decisions move fast — and that the person you talk to is the same person writing the code.
Technology-wise, we build with what will still be maintainable in ten years: Next.js with React for custom sites, Laravel or Python for backend and integration work, Shopify for shops with international ambition, WooCommerce for privacy-critical B2B setups, WordPress for content-heavy sites — and n8n plus OpenAI or Claude APIs for automations behind the scenes. We host mainly on Hetzner (Nuremberg/Helsinki) or Fly.io; for agency partners also on Raidboxes. No no-code platform that changes its pricing model next quarter.
Our Vienna client base is broad: a premium spirits shop in the 4th district, a SaaS startup near Karlsplatz, a health business on a WooCommerce retainer, several retailers in the outer districts, and industrial B2B companies. What they have in common is wanting an agency that doesn’t just "build something" and disappear — one that stays available after launch, with a 24-hour business-day response and honest feedback when a planned feature won’t work in practice.
A note on pricing: Shopify launch projects start around €20,000 net; ongoing retainers start at 10 hours per month, around €1,700. That is not a bargain — and isn’t meant to be. For shops and software meant to last a decade, you get a solution that will still be maintainable in five years.

Both. Our studio is in Vienna's 22nd district; most of our Vienna projects run remote with clear rituals — weekly syncs, shared Miro, shared Figma and codebase access. When on-site time helps (kick-off, workshops, executive alignment), we come to you. Travel is transparently billed.
How quickly do you respond to clients from Vienna?
24 hours on business days — for first enquiries as well as ongoing projects. For retainer clients with SLA needs we agree on faster response times and defined escalation paths in the contract.
What does a project cost with you?
Scope-dependent. Rough benchmarks: a Shopify launch project starts at around EUR 20,000 net, a WordPress maintenance package from EUR 140 per month, ongoing retainers from 10 hours or EUR 1,700 per month. We quote a fixed price after a free discovery call — only once goals, feature list and exclusions are in writing.
Are you a one-person show or a team?
We are a team: Martin (managing director, formerly Head of Tech at Glow25), Mathias (lead development) and Enrico (video and content) work on projects together — no account manager in between, no working students in delivery. For specialised trades we work with fixed partners in Vienna and Lower Austria.
What happens after launch?
We stay. Roughly 60 percent of our revenue is retainer mandates — updates, monitoring, security, evolution. Minimum retainer is 10 hours per month. Teams that want to leave after launch get clean handover documentation and a list of open items.
