What workshops and training at clickpuls mean.

Workshops and training at clickpuls are not lecture sessions with slides and a hand-out, but working sessions in which your team trains on real systems, with real data and real tasks from your daily routine. We bring content we ourselves have applied operationally for 15+ years — as e-commerce operators with our own brands, as an engineering team for custom software, as AI practitioners for our own workflows, as data analysts in tracking and reporting setups.

Our typical topic areas:

  • Software and web engineering — modern frontend stacks (Next.js, React), API design, code-review practice, AI-assisted development with Claude Code/Cursor
  • AI and automation — ChatGPT/Claude for marketing, sales and operations; prompt engineering; n8n/Make workflows; agent architectures
  • E-commerceShopify administration up to Plus, WooCommerce setup, headless architectures, internationalisation, conversion diagnosis
  • Analytics and tracking — GA4, server-side tagging, GTM, consent management, reporting build-up in Looker Studio
  • Operations and process digitalisation — ERP connections, warehouse/OMS workflows, sales and service tools
  • Digital-leadership coaching — 1:1 sparring for leadership and head-of roles owning a programme and needing an external sparring partner
  • Custom workshops — when your need does not fit one of the standard formats, we build the programme individually

What we are not: no training vendor selling off-the-shelf curricula, no train-the-trainer broker, no pure knowledge transfer without practice translation. We train when we apply the topic ourselves daily — and we decline when that is not the case.

Why our workshops and training work in everyday practice.

Four traits that distinguish practice training from operators with real application experience from standard training curricula.

01

From own application instead of textbook

What we train we apply operationally ourselves daily — Shopify in client shops and our own brands, Next.js and Claude Code in our web builds, AI workflows in our own advisory and engineering practice, GA4 and server-side tracking in running client setups. That is the difference between training where slides build on each other and a session in which concrete pitfalls and escape paths come from real experience.

02

On your real systems

Where possible we train directly in your setup: your Shopify theme, your WordPress, your GA4 property, your PM tool, your ERP sandbox. Exercises take place with your products, your customer data (or anonymised samples) and your running tasks. That way your team does not leave the workshop with a script but with configurations already made, reports already built, workflows already set up.

03

Senior trainer with operator background

Every session is led by a senior member of our team — no working students, no bought-in trainers without practice connection. Martin is a WIFI trainer for e-commerce in Vienna and Lower Austria; Mathias runs engineering sessions on web stacks and AI tooling; Enrico trains on operations, service workflows and online-shop operations. For multi-day or multi-part programmes we combine profiles deliberately.

04

Clear practice transfer with follow-up

A workshop is only useful when what was learned is still part of the daily work 4 weeks later. So we plan every session with a pre-briefing (expectations, current state), live exercises during the training and a follow-up appointment after 2–4 weeks, in which we review the first applications and clarify questions from practice. Materials (cheat sheets, configuration documents, example prompts) stay with you.

What we train — typical formats and content.

Software and web-engineering training

We train internal engineering teams and IT departments in the stacks and methods we apply ourselves in client projects — from mid-market IT modernising their own web or software build to corporate engineering units systematically introducing AI-assisted development.

Typical topics:

  • Next.js, React and modern frontend architecture — App router, server components, performance patterns, SEO basics for JavaScript apps
  • API design and backend patterns — REST and GraphQL patterns, auth concepts, database schema design for web applications
  • AI-assisted development — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot in daily engineering practice: what really accelerates, where risks lurk, how to steer code reviews on AI-generated code
  • Code-review and quality practice — review standards, automated checks, test strategy for web applications
  • DevOps and hosting basics — Hetzner, Fly.io and similar European hosting setups; CI/CD; environment separation; backups

Format: typically a full-day or 2-day workshop depending on depth. For multi-part programmes across several months (e.g. monthly engineering sessions) as a training retainer from € 1,700/month net.

AI and automation workshops

We bring teams to the point where AI does not remain an experimentation topic but enters daily work — from marketing via sales to operations and service. Content from our own application: we use LLMs, agents and automation platforms daily for our own consulting, engineering and brand operations.

Typical topics:

  • LLM basics for practitioners — when ChatGPT, when Claude, when an open model; what models actually can do and where they fail; how to manage hallucination risk
  • Prompt engineering for marketing, sales and service — structured prompts for recurring tasks (texts, emails, research, replies), maintaining prompt libraries, assessing output quality
  • Agent architectures and workflow automation — n8n, Make, Zapier combined with LLMs; when an agent makes sense and when a deterministic workflow fits better
  • AI in software development — separate engineering sessions on Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot
  • AI governance and data protectionGDPR-compliant setups, EU hosting options for models and embeddings, internal guidelines for staff

Important delineation: We are AI practitioners, not WIFI trainers for AI. Workshops are internal team training or coaching — not certified courses with an exam.

Format: half-day for entry-level awareness, full-day for application workshops, multi-part across 4–8 weeks for structured introduction programmes in mid-market.

E-commerce training — Shopify, WooCommerce, operations

This is one of our oldest training fields. Martin has been a WIFI trainer for e-commerce in Vienna and Lower Austria for years; within our team we continuously train client marketing and service units on Shopify, WooCommerce and cross-cutting e-commerce operations.

Typical topics:

  • Shopify basics up to Shopify Plus — shop administration, product and collection maintenance, theme architecture, Liquid, Shopify Functions, Markets setup for DACH and EU
  • WooCommerce and WordPress — clean setup, plugin hygiene, performance optimisation, Stripe/PayPal/Klarna integration, WPML multilingualism
  • E-commerce operations — order workflows, returns logic, payment-method steering, ERP connection, warehouse synchronisation
  • Conversion diagnosis — how to find funnel weaknesses with data without immediately falling into A/B-test industrialisation
  • DACH internationalisation — tax and compliance setup, local payment methods, local shipping providers, hreflang and SEO setup for multilingual shops

Format: half-day for marketing or service teams, full-day for mixed marketing+operations+IT rounds, multi-day for extensive onboarding programmes during platform changes. For ongoing accompaniment across several months as a training retainer from € 1,700/month net.

Analytics, tracking and reporting training

Data nobody reads is more expensive than data nobody collects. We train marketing, e-commerce and leadership teams to actually use tracking and reporting setups — not the academic GA4 doctorate.

Typical topics:

  • GA4 in practice — property setup, events, conversions, e-commerce tracking; what has changed compared to Universal Analytics and what of that is really relevant in daily work
  • Server-side tagging and consent — Google Tag Manager server container, EU-compliant setup with GDPR cookie-banner logic, data-layer build-up
  • Reporting build-up in Looker Studio — operational dashboards for leadership, marketing performance, e-commerce funnel
  • Attribution and multi-channel analysis — clean UTM hygiene, limits of last-click logic, what attribution can and cannot do
  • Data-quality audit — how to detect tracking drift, how to reconcile reports against order data, how to build stakeholder trust in data

Important delineation: We build GA4 and GTM setups as default — other tracking stacks (Adobe Analytics, Matomo, Piwik PRO, Plausible) we mention but do not specialise in.

Format: half-day for awareness, full-day for implementation workshops with live build-up in the setup, multi-part across 4–6 weeks for larger re-implementations.

Digital-leadership coaching for leadership and head-of roles

Not every training is a group workshop. We offer 1:1 coaching for leaders and head-of roles owning a digital programme and needing an external sparring partner — without switching into a full mandate as consultant or interim.

Typical occasions:

  • Strategy sparring before a vendor decision — neutral second opinion before the platform or software switch
  • Onboarding accompaniment of new leadership — new head of e-commerce, head of digital, CTO receives 4–8 sessions as ramp-up coaching to consolidate the role
  • Crisis or escalation sparring — when a project derails and the responsible person needs an external, honest assessment before escalating upward
  • Personal continuing education — structured sessions on AI, web trends, e-commerce market, without an internal consultant mandate becoming visible

Format: typically 60–90-minute sessions by video, 2–6 appointments across 4–12 weeks depending on occasion. Content confidential; NDA on request. On request we accompany longer-term in a coaching retainer from € 1,700/month net.

Custom workshops and training programmes

When your need does not fit one of our standard formats, we build the programme individually. The trigger can be a platform change, a new stack, a team build-up, a department restructuring or an AI roll-out.

How we set up individual programmes:

  • 1–2 weeks pre-audit — conversations with stakeholders, stocktake of existing skills, definition of measurable learning goals
  • Programme design — module structure, format mix (workshop, coaching, self-study, practice assignment), schedule across 4–16 weeks
  • Delivery with a fixed training lead — one person from our team leads the entire programme, other senior profiles step in for special modules
  • Learning control and transfer review — after completion we jointly assess with leadership or head-of whether learning goals were reached
  • Multi-part training series as retainer — when several sessions run monthly or across 6+ months, organisationally this runs as a training retainer from € 1,700/month net

We do not take on a training mandate in which we have no real operator practice — even when it would be commercially attractive. Rather we transparently recommend a specialised training house from our network.

WHEN DO YOU NEED THIS?

When our workshops and training have the lever.

Six typical constellations where DACH mid-market and corporate units engage training with us.

01 / TRIGGER

Platform change with team onboarding

You change to a new platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, new ERP, new stack) and the team needs application confidence within 4–8 weeks. We build a staggered training programme alongside the implementation — marketing, service, operations, IT each receive their modules.

02 / TRIGGER

AI roll-out in the marketing or sales team

Leadership wants to systematically introduce AI tools in marketing, sales or service — without it ending in unstructured ChatGPT trial. We deliver an introduction programme: awareness, prompt library, tool selection, governance, pilot use cases with success measurement.

03 / TRIGGER

Engineering team modernises its stack

An in-house engineering team that has worked in an old stack for years is to switch to a modern web stack (Next.js, React, AI-assisted development). We build a training programme across 8–12 weeks with sessions, practical assignments on real code and code-review accompaniment.

04 / TRIGGER

Tracking and reporting re-implementation

The GA4 setup has grown historically, nobody trusts the reports anymore, leadership wants clean marketing and e-commerce data. We combine an implementation workshop with hands-on re-setup and reporting training for marketing and leadership views.

05 / TRIGGER

Onboarding a new digital-area leader

A new head of e-commerce, head of digital or CTO starts and needs external sparring in the first 90 days — market overview, neutral assessment of the existing vendor constellation, coaching for the first strategic decisions. 4–8 coaching appointments across 8–12 weeks.

06 / TRIGGER

Strategic AI workshop for leadership and advisory

Leadership or the advisory board wants a structured half- or full-day workshop on AI in their own business model — what is real, what is hype, where are the first application fields, which investments pay off. With industry examples, honest classification and a clear next step.

Sounds like your project?

30–45 minutes for a first call — free and non-binding. We assess your use-case, estimate effort and risks, and give an honest recommendation — even if it means this is better built elsewhere.

Standard training vendor or workshops from clickpuls?

An honest side-by-side of the two models DACH companies most often weigh against each other for training. Both paths have their occasion — we recommend the standard training vendor when the constellation fits there.

Kriterium / Criterion
Standard training vendor
Workshops from clickpuls
Content source
Standardised curriculum, often maintained for years, annual update cycle
Content from ongoing own application in client and own projects
Trainer profile
Specialised trainers, often full-time trainers without active project practice
Senior operators from our team with daily application practice
Exercise setup
Standardised exercise environments or demo accounts
Where possible on your real systems, with your data and your tasks
Practice transfer after the workshop
Hand-out and possibly email support, rarely follow-up appointments
Planned follow-up appointment after 2–4 weeks, can be continued long-term as a retainer
Scalability to large participant numbers
High — standard vendors have logistics for 50+ participants per session
Deliberately kept small — typically 3–10 participants per session to secure real practice transfer
When does the other path fit
For large participant numbers, generic entry-level training or certified courses with an exam
For specific practice topics, small senior rounds, strategy workshops or multi-part training programmes
OUR PROCESS

How a workshop or training programme runs with us.

Four phases from initial conversation to daily-practice application. For single workshops the preparation shortens; for multi-part programmes phases 2–4 repeat per module.

01

Initial conversation and learning-goal clarification

In a 45–60-minute meeting (video or on-site in Vienna) we clarify: who should be trained, which skill level is in place, which learning goal should stand at the end, which real tasks should be easier after the training. Afterwards you receive a written programme concept with module structure, schedule proposal and fixed-price offer.

02

Preparation and material set-up

We read into your setup (shop, stack, GA4 property, tool landscape) and adapt content and exercises to your reality. For hands-on workshops we build where possible on your sandbox or a test account to exclude risks at the live system. Cheat sheets, example prompts and configuration templates are prepared in your language and with your industry examples.

03

Workshop delivery with live exercises

On-site at your location or remote by video. Mix of short input blocks (max. 20–30 minutes at a time), live demo at the system, exercises for participants, Q&A rounds and reflection phases. For online workshops we record on request so that staff who could not attend can catch up. 24-h response on business days to questions during running programmes as default.

04

Follow-up and practice-transfer review

After 2–4 weeks a follow-up appointment (60–90 minutes, mostly remote): what was actually applied, where were stumbling points, which questions emerged anew from practical application. For multi-part programmes this simultaneously transitions into the next module. On request we accompany longer-term in a training retainer from € 1,700/month net — e.g. monthly sessions across 6–12 months.

KEY FIGURES

Reference values of our training practice.

Four reference values that distinguish practice workshops with real transfer from standard training packages.

Group size
3–10 people

Default group size per workshop deliberately small to secure real practice transfer and live exercises. We deliver larger groups (up to 20) when the format is set up as an awareness or strategy workshop, not as a hands-on session.

Format range
half-day to multi-month

Half-day (3–4 hours) for awareness or coaching, full-day (6–8 hours) for hands-on workshops, multi-day for platform onboarding and multi-part across 4–16 weeks for structured training programmes. For ongoing accompaniment as a training retainer.

Response time
24 h on business days

During running programmes we respond to questions and practice issues within 24 hours on business days — even without separately agreed SLA. Faster responses possible as a retainer add-on.

Training retainer
from € 1,700/month

Multi-part training programmes across 6+ months we organise as a training retainer from € 1,700/month net — e.g. monthly engineering sessions, regular AI practice workshops, ongoing coaching for leaders. Single workshops as fixed price after initial conversation.

DACH CONTEXT

Training in the DACH area — how we work from Vienna.

We deliver workshops and training for mid-market companies and corporate units in Austria, Germany and Switzerland — from Vienna, Graz, Linz and Klagenfurt via Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Berlin to Zurich and Basel. We reach on-site sessions in the region with short travel; day-time workshops in southern Germany and German-speaking Switzerland are possible without an overnight stay; for more distant locations we plan an arrival day in advance.

Martin has been a WIFI trainer for e-commerce in Vienna and Lower Austria for years, which shapes training experience in formalised DACH settings (with mixed participants, mandatory learning goal and structured curriculum). In the DACH market the regulatory frameworks (GDPR in the EU, FADP in Switzerland, packaging and ElektroG regimes) are relevant for tracking, data-protection and e-commerce training — we build that into every workshop module touching data or end-customer contact. Online workshops cover DACH entirely, with German and English language options depending on team setup.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Common questions about our workshops and training.

Which topics do you train — and which deliberately not?

We only train topics we operationally apply ourselves daily — everything else we decline or transparently refer to specialised training houses from our network.

What we train:

  • Software and web engineeringNext.js, React, API design, AI-assisted development with Claude Code/Cursor
  • AI and automation — LLM application in marketing/sales/service, prompt engineering, n8n/Make, agent architectures
  • E-commerceShopify (up to Plus), WooCommerce, operations, DACH internationalisation
  • Analytics and tracking — GA4, server-side tagging, GTM, reporting in Looker Studio
  • Operations and process digitalisation — ERP connections, OMS workflows, sales and service tools
  • Digital-leadership coaching — 1:1 sparring for leadership and head-of roles

What we don’t train:

  • Classic business administration or marketing theory — belongs in universities and business schools
  • Platform-specific topics without own application — e.g. Salesforce customising, SAP ABAP, special BI stacks without client experience
  • Adobe Analytics depth entry-level courses — we specialise in GA4 and name Adobe specialists when there is demand
  • Certified courses with exams in AI disciplines — we are AI practitioners, not WIFI trainers for AI; we refer to accredited providers when a certificate is required
  • Industry compliance training (GDPR awareness with certificate, anti-money-laundering, compliance mandatory training) — belongs with lawyers and specialised compliance trainings

When unsure: ask. We honestly say whether the topic sits in our practice area or not.

Which workshop formats do you offer?

Four format categories — from half-day awareness to multi-month training programmes.

Half-day workshop (3–4 hours): awareness sessions, strategy workshops for leadership and advisory board, compact entry modules. Suitable for 5–20 people.

Full-day workshop (6–8 hours): hands-on sessions on real systems, implementation workshops with live build-up, platform deepening. Suitable for 3–10 people.

Multi-day training (2–5 days): platform onboarding after a switch (e.g. Shopify or ERP), comprehensive engineering training, mixed-participant programmes from marketing/service/IT.

Multi-part programme across 4–16 weeks: structured introduction or modernisation programmes with a module structure, practical assignments between sessions, learning-control reviews. With a runtime over 6+ months organisationally as a training retainer from € 1,700/month net.

Coaching format (60–90-minute sessions): 1:1 coaching for leadership and head-of roles, typically 2–6 appointments across 4–12 weeks.

We combine formats deliberately — e.g. an awareness workshop for leadership followed by a hands-on programme for operational teams.

On-site or remote — what do you recommend?

Both work; we recommend on-site where team dynamics and live-system setup count, and remote where focus and efficiency count.

On-site sensible:

  • Platform onboarding of multiple teams — when 6–10 people from marketing, service, IT train together, presence is more valuable
  • Strategy workshops for leadership and advisory — discussion and joint decisions work better in one room than on video
  • Hands-on sessions on a complex setup — when building together on your sandbox and screen proximity counts

Remote sensible:

  • Coaching sessions — 1:1 appointments by video are usually more efficient than with travel
  • Engineering sessions in distributed teams — code reviews and pair programming often work better remotely because everyone has the same setup in front of them
  • Multi-part programmes — modules across 8–12 weeks are logistically easier remote
  • DACH-wide participants — when a team is distributed across AT, DE and CH, remote is the only practical way

Hybrid: we often combine kick-off on-site with follow-up modules remote. For online workshops we record on request so absent staff can catch up.

Travel effort for on-site appointments is included in the workshop fixed price; for more distant locations (northern Germany, western Switzerland) we clarify upfront as an effort position.

What does a workshop or training programme cost?

Three format categories, each with a clear fixed price after the initial conversation or as a monthly retainer:

  • Single workshops (half-day, full-day, multi-day) — fixed price per workshop after initial conversation and programme concept. Considered are preparation effort, participant number, content depth, travel effort and follow-up
  • Multi-part training programmes (4–16 weeks) — fixed-price programme with clear module structure and defined deliverables. With a runtime over 6+ months organisationally as a training retainer
  • Training or coaching retainer from € 1,700/month net — for ongoing monthly sessions, continuous engineering or AI-practice series, continuous leadership coaching

What is included in the workshop fixed price: pre-briefing, preparation with adaptation to your setup, delivery, cheat sheets and materials, follow-up appointment after 2–4 weeks, 24-h response on business days to questions during the programme.

What runs separately: extensive travel needs to remote DACH regions, workshop extensions beyond the defined programme, longer-term accompaniment as a retainer.

After the initial conversation you receive a binding offer with a clear training scope — no surprise invoices, no hidden surcharges.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes — on request all participants receive a participation certificate from clickpuls. But we are deliberately not an accredited course institution.

What we issue:

  • Participation confirmation with workshop title, date, content overview, trainer profile, hours volume — suitable for internal personnel files and continuing-education evidence
  • For multi-part programmes a programme-completion document with all completed modules

What we don’t issue:

  • Examined certificates with state accreditation (e.g. ISTQB, AWS Certified, Cisco) — those require accredited course institutes
  • WIFI course certificates — Martin trains there as an external training person, courses run through WIFI itself, not via clickpuls
  • University credit certificates for ECTS points

If you need an accredited certificate: we openly refer to WIFI, university continuing-education programmes or specialised providers like iSAQB for software architecture. Our certificates document practical content and participation — no exam.

How quickly can a workshop take place?

Online workshops we typically schedule in 2–4 weeks, on-site appointments in 4–8 weeks — depending on programme depth and preparation effort.

What determines lead time:

  • Programme concept — faster for standard topics, for strongly individualised programmes we need 1–2 weeks of pre-audit
  • Setup preparation — when working on your real systems we need access to a sandbox or test account and time to get familiar
  • Schedule coordination — for on-site workshops with leadership calendars are often booked 4–8 weeks in advance
  • Travel logistics — for on-site workshops in Germany or Switzerland we need 2–4 weeks lead time for scheduling and travel planning

When it goes faster:

  • Acute topics (e.g. AI awareness for leadership before an advisory meeting) — we build compact sessions in 1–2 weeks when a senior profile is available
  • Follow-up modules in running programmes — the next modules of an already running programme we schedule short-term
  • Coaching sessions — 1:1 coaching often starts within a week when slots are available

When it takes longer:

  • Strongly individualised multi-part programmes with pre-audit, stakeholder workshops and module design — typically 4–8 weeks lead time
  • Multi-site training series — when 4–8 sites are trained in stages, we plan 6–12 weeks in advance

Which response time applies during a running training programme?

Standard response to questions and practice issues during running programmes: within 24 hours on business days — even without a separately agreed SLA.

What is possible beyond:

  • Training retainer with faster SLAs as add-on — e.g. 4-h response in CET business hours when the programme is a time-critical platform onboarding alongside a live go-live
  • Coaching retainer with fixed weekly slot availability — e.g. a 90-minute session per week guaranteed, with slot reservation in the calendar
  • Workshop accompaniment phases with extended support during the first 2–4 weeks of application

What we don’t promise: immediate response outside agreed SLAs or 24/7 availability without real backup structures. Clear response-time contracts are more professional than suggested always-on promises.

Backup model: the fixed training lead has a second senior team member as backup for holiday and illness cases. For multi-part programmes participants typically meet the backup profile during the programme so that substitution appointments run without a familiarisation phase.

Which languages do you train — and in which countries?

We train in German and English — on-site appointments in DACH (Austria, Germany, Switzerland), remote in DACH and the EU.

Languages:

  • German — standard for DACH workshops, including technical content (engineering, tracking, AI). Materials (cheat sheets, configurations) in German
  • English — for DACH teams with international workforce, for cross-border engagements from the EU or UK, for engineering sessions in stacks whose documentation is primarily English
  • Language mix in one session — possible when participants have different language strengths; we balance pragmatically

On-site reach:

  • Austria — all larger economic regions reachable without overnight (Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt)
  • Germany — southern Germany (Munich, Stuttgart) day-time without overnight; northern Germany (Hamburg, Berlin) with arrival day and overnight
  • Switzerland — German-speaking Switzerland (Zurich, Basel, Bern) without overnight possible; western Switzerland with arrival day

Remote: we cover DACH and EU completely. For engagements outside this region (e.g. UK, USA) we check individually whether time zone and training content match — but we don’t specialise in overseas training.

What distinguishes you from WIFI, university courses and large training vendors?

We are an operational consulting, engineering and e-commerce team that also trains — not a pure training institution. That is simultaneously our biggest distinction and our limit.

What distinguishes us:

  • Content from ongoing practice — we train alongside client and own projects in the same stacks and topics
  • Senior trainers from the team — no bought-in externals, every session runs with someone from our fixed team
  • Small groups with real practice transfer — default 3–10 participants, not 50+
  • Content and exercises fit your setup — no off-the-shelf standard curricula
  • 24-h response on business days during running programmes as default

What you get better at accredited providers:

  • Accredited certificates with exams — WIFI, universities, iSAQB, AWS Training have accredited courses with state- or industry-recognised exams
  • Large participant volumes — for 50+ staff who need to be trained quickly and uniformly, mass providers are logistically advantaged
  • Standard topics with a clear curriculum — when you need generic entry-level training, a standard institution is often cheaper
  • Eligibility for funding — many accredited courses are eligible for funding via AMS, AK education bonus or DE education vouchers; our workshops typically are not

Recommendation in both directions: if your need clearly sits with an accredited provider, we say so openly and name contact points. If a standard provider pitches you a custom practice programme that does not fit their curriculum — ask us for a second opinion.
