Berlin concentrates startups, D2C brands, media, creative industries and one of Europe’s most active tech scenes. With around 3.7 million inhabitants and a wider region adding more millions, the city is a magnet for any agency — but also a market with above-average competition. We earned a place here not through presence, but through results.

Our Berlin clients are mostly D2C brands on Shopify, occasionally B2B software providers needing website work, and increasingly AI startups needing a working prototype before their next round. For this scene we deliver clearly: a scalable Shopify theme in 6–8 weeks from €20,000, or an AI prototype in 3–4 weeks on Claude or OpenAI basis from €15,000. No fantasies, no agency pitch theatre.

Berlin is where we most often upgrade to Shopify Plus — because Berlin D2C brands frequently exceed 500 orders per day, and Shopify Plus features like Scripts and Flow make a measurable difference there. At the same time we are not a pure Shopify agency: for Berlin-typical content-commerce setups we deliver WordPress/Sanity/Shopify combinations when the editorial team is central.

In-person presence in Berlin: we are on the ground 1–2 times per year for kick-offs, pilots or go-lives — usually in Mitte, Kreuzberg or Prenzlauer Berg. For ongoing collaboration, a weekly video call and 24-hour business-day response suffice. Berlin clients have never left us for lack of presence — only continuity has mattered, and that is what our small team delivers.

On privacy: we host on Hetzner Helsinki or Frankfurt by default, no longer use Google Analytics by default (Plausible or clean GA4 with Consent Mode v2 instead), and know the current state of cookie banner rules and IAB TCF v2.2. For Berlin shops at GDPR audit risk this is not a nice-to-have — it is table stakes.
